Your data
Privacy, without a hidden profile.
INTERSECT is an offline-first game with no player account, gameplay backend, advertising, or behavioral analytics. Your gameplay stays in storage controlled by the app on your device. The Android app uses Google Play and RevenueCat to process optional purchases.

What stays on your device
INTERSECT stores game information locally in your browser, including:
- answers, scores, streaks, sessions, Daily results, and progression;
- your local display name, profile state, unlocks, and achievements; and
- settings such as theme, sound, motion, haptics, contrast, and text size;
- if you turn it on, a Daily reminder time;
- if you turn it on, play statistics: how often each puzzle was answered and missed, hints used, and response time; and
- a friend's Daily result, if you open their challenge link.
This information is associated with that browser and site on that device. It is not currently synchronized to an INTERSECT account or server.
What INTERSECT does not collect
- No account
- No sign-up, email address, password, or cloud profile.
- No gameplay backend
- No answers, progress, or settings are sent to an INTERSECT database.
- No analytics
- No product analytics or behavioral tracking tools are included. Optional play statistics stay on your device. They leave it only if you attach them to a feedback email and send that email yourself.
- No ads
- No advertising network, ad profile, or targeted advertising.
This list concerns gameplay and profile data. Optional purchase data is described in the next section.
Optional Android purchases
The Android app uses Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to offer optional Insight packs. If you start or complete a purchase, Google Play and RevenueCat may process an anonymous app customer identifier, product and transaction identifiers, purchase status, price and currency, and purchase history. Callidus Apps uses this information to validate the transaction, grant Insight, prevent duplicate delivery, provide purchase support, and review aggregate purchase performance.
INTERSECT does not receive or store your payment-card number. RevenueCat creates a random anonymous app user ID on the device because INTERSECT has no sign-in system. Purchase services require an internet connection and operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Standard hosting logs
INTERSECT must be delivered by a web-hosting provider. When your browser requests the game or checks for an update, that provider may process standard technical request information such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested file, timestamp, and error or security information.
Those logs are used by hosting infrastructure to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site. They are separate from the local gameplay profile described above. The hosting provider's own privacy and retention terms apply to its logs.
Sharing a Daily result
Sharing starts only when you press the share control. INTERSECT may create a result card on your device and pass it to your operating system's share sheet, save that card locally, or copy result text to your clipboard when supported.
INTERSECT does not send the result to its own server. If you choose another app or service from the share sheet, that destination handles the content under its own privacy terms.
The shared text includes a challenge link. The link contains the Daily date, the app's question-set version, which of the ten questions you answered correctly, and your total time. It does not contain your name or any identifier. Anyone who receives the link can read those details. When someone opens it, their copy of INTERSECT stores the result on their device to compare it with their own Daily. Opening the link on the web requests the page from the hosting provider described above.
Your controls
Reset game progress
Open Settings in INTERSECT, choose Reset Local Progress, then confirm. This clears the game profile and progress stored for the current installation.
Daily reminders (Android)
Reminders are off by default. When you turn them on in Settings, Android asks for notification permission and INTERSECT schedules the reminders on your phone. No push server is involved. Turn them off in Settings or in Android's notification settings.
Play statistics
Play statistics are off by default. Turning the setting off deletes the statistics stored on this device. When they are on, the feedback form shows exactly what would be attached before you open an email draft, and lets you leave them out.
Remove all local site data
To remove settings and cached app files as well, clear INTERSECT's site data in your browser or uninstall the PWA. Browser wording varies. Clearing browser storage, private-browsing data, or the app itself may also remove progress without recovery.
Request deletion of purchase-service data
To request deletion of data associated with an Insight purchase, email callidusapps@gmail.com with the subject INTERSECT data deletion request. Include the Google Play order number when the request concerns a purchase, but do not include payment-card details. The full steps are on the Support page.
Storage and retention
Local information remains until you reset it, clear site data, uninstall the app, or your browser or device removes it. INTERSECT cannot restore local progress because no server copy currently exists.
For Android purchases, Callidus Apps will delete the customer identifiers and purchase-history copy under its control after verifying a deletion request. Records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations may be retained for the period required by law. Google may separately retain Google Play transaction records under its own policies.
Anyone with access to your browser profile or unlocked device may be able to view or change local game information. Use your device's security controls where appropriate.
Changes and questions
This page may change as INTERSECT adds features or providers. The date at the top will identify the latest version. Material changes should be explained clearly rather than silently expanding data use.
INTERSECT is published by Callidus Apps. For privacy questions or support, email callidusapps@gmail.com or visit the Support page.
