Rules of play
Simple terms for using INTERSECT.
These terms describe the practical rules for playing INTERSECT. They are written to be readable: use the game fairly, respect its content, and remember that current progress exists only on your device.

Playing the game
You may access and play INTERSECT for personal, non-commercial use. You may install the PWA on devices you control and share result cards created by the built-in share feature.
Do not interfere with the game or its hosting, attempt to harm other users, bypass reasonable access controls, or use automated tools to overload the service.
Game and content use
The INTERSECT name, visual design, puzzle collection, writing, code, sounds, and other game materials may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Personal play and ordinary sharing of your generated results are welcome.
You may not copy or redistribute substantial parts of the game, publish the puzzle bank, remove ownership notices, sell access, or present INTERSECT content as your own without permission.
The game aims for precise answers, but puzzle wording or factual content may contain errors. A puzzle result is for entertainment and is not professional advice.
Scores and local progression
Scores, streaks, Insight, local marks, the on-device benchmark index, discoveries, and similar displays are game features calculated on your device. This release does not provide a verified global leaderboard or population ranking.
No local mark, index, reward, or continued score is guaranteed. Game balance, scoring rules, puzzle content, and progression may change as the game improves.
Local-only progress
INTERSECT currently has no player account or cloud backup. Your profile, settings, and progress are stored by your browser on the device you use. They may not appear in a different browser, browser profile, device, or site address.
Clearing site data, using private browsing, uninstalling the PWA, device failure, or a browser storage policy may permanently remove progress. INTERSECT cannot restore data that was never sent to a server. See the Privacy page for details and reset options.
Optional Insight purchases
The Android app may offer consumable Insight packs through Google Play. The price and currency shown in the Google Play checkout apply to the transaction. Payment, cancellation, and eligible refund requests are handled under Google Play's terms.
Purchased Insight is added to the local game profile after the transaction is confirmed. It can be spent on in-game branch unlocks, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred. After Reset Local Progress, opening the Insight shop credits purchases that Google Play and RevenueCat still report for the same installation. Because INTERSECT has no player account or cloud wallet, clearing app data, uninstalling, or changing devices may remove an Insight balance that cannot be recovered. Complete purchases only on a device and profile you intend to keep.
The first pack bought on a game profile includes a one-time bonus equal to the pack's Insight amount. The bonus is added at checkout, becomes part of the local balance under the same rules, and is not added again when earlier purchases are recovered.
Availability and updates
INTERSECT is provided as available. Offline play depends on the game first loading successfully and on your browser retaining its cached files. Installation, updates, and some platform features may require a network connection or a supported browser.
The game may be corrected, updated, suspended, or discontinued. Continuous access, compatibility with every device, and error-free operation are not promised. Planned maintenance and important changes should be communicated reasonably when possible.
Your device and choices
You are responsible for the device, browser, connectivity, and third-party services you choose to use with INTERSECT. When you share a result, the selected operating-system or third-party destination controls what happens to that shared content.
INTERSECT cannot recover or take responsibility for losses caused by cleared local storage, unsupported devices, unavailable hosting, or third-party services outside the game's control.
Changes and contact
These terms may change when the game or its publishing model changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continuing to use INTERSECT after an updated version becomes available means the updated terms apply to future use.
INTERSECT is published by Callidus Apps. Questions about these terms can be sent to callidusapps@gmail.com or through the Support page.
